A Great Crested Flycatcher. A pretty rare sighting, as these usually stay up in tree tops.

Blue jay, one of my favorite birds.

Northern Flicker woodpecker.

Eastern bluebird. The population of these birds was decimated in the 90s, but thanks to local conservation efforts they have made an amazing comeback and are now plentiful in our region.

Yellow finch.

Red shouldered hawk. We have a lot of these in our area and they are impressive looking birds.
